Early childhood classrooms are becoming increasingly diverse and are supporting unique students from different cultures and developmental levels. This, combined with the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, leads to challenges that teachers and caregivers encounter when meeting the comprehensive needs of the children in their care. In this one-day live virtual training session, participants will learn about different kinds of visual schedules and the many benefits they have. By using visual schedules throughout the daily routine, early childhood educators can ensure that students of all abilities are provided structure and predictability while promoting their independence. |
