This virtual training is facilitated over a video conferencing program. In this two-day live virtual training session, participants will learn strategies for creating an impactful, developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, engaging, and positive learning environment for children and families. Participants will explore the characteristics of dynamic interest areas and learn how to use room arrangement as a teaching strategy. In addition to planning the physical spaces, participants will examine strategies for strengthening the social and temporal environments to meet the needs of children and families. During the session, participants will also analyze their daily activities and create a schedule that maximizes opportunities to support development and learning. This course is for teachers and caregivers who have already completed Sessions 1 and 2 of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool or Family Child Care online or in person. |
