This virtual training is facilitated over a video conferencing program. This virtual training is facilitated over a video conferencing program. In this interactive four-day live virtual training, teachers and caregivers will learn to be intentional as they teach important foundational skills. Participants will become familiar with the research related to how preschool children learn mathematical concepts and process skills and examine the components of mathematics that form the basis of instruction. Participants will explore The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool resources that support your language and literacy program. Through interactive, large- and small-group experiences and individual reflection, participants will learn how the wealth of materials included in The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool help teachers engage children in meaningful language and literacy experiences. You will learn how research relates to The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool approach and how to use the resources effectively. By the end of this session, participants will be able to articulate how their programs will implement The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool to help children build a strong foundation for life-long language and literacy learning. Participants should have already completed Session 1 or Family Child Care online or in person prior to taking this class.
