This virtual training is facilitated over a video conferencing program. This live virtual two-day session is designed to help teachers using The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool effectively implement studies in their classrooms. Participants will learn how to choose appropriate study topics, understand how to prepare for a study, and investigate how to effectively implement a study from beginning to end. Through hands-on interactive experiences, participants will be introduced to the 3 parts of a study and the benefits of conducting long-term investigations with children. Additionally, participants will learn how to address the objectives for development and learning in meaningful ways during a study and how to include families and the community in children’s learning. This course is for teachers and caregivers who have already completed Sessions 1 and 2 of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool or Family Child Care online or in person prior to taking this training. |
