The Pyramid Model provides guidance for early childhood educators, early
intervention personnel, families and other professionals on the evidence-based
practices for promoting young children’s healthy social/emotional development.
The model describes three tiers of intervention practice:
Universal promotion for all children;
Secondary preventions to address the intervention needs for children at risk
of social emotional delays, and
Tertiary interventions needed for children with persistent challenges.
All members of the NJ Workforce Registry will have access to the link and materials
through the Registry; the facilitator will also email these out prior to the workshop.
