In this second two-day training session of The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos series, teachers and caregivers will explore their role in promoting the healthy social–emotional development of infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds. Practical strategies for building and maintaining partnerships with children’s families that are based on trust, cultural awareness, and mutual respect will also be explored. Participants should have already completed Session 1 prior to taking this class. Teachers and caregivers will learn the importance of building a nurturing relationship with each child, appropriate expectations for children’s behavior at different ages, and positive guidance strategies. |
