In this second training session of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool series, teachers and caregivers will learn to be intentional as they teach important foundational skills. In this two-day training, participants will become familiar with the research related to how preschool children learn mathematical concepts and process skills and examine the components of mathematics that form the basis of instruction. Participants should bring the following to training: Curriculum Volumes 1-6, "Beginning of the Year" Teaching Guide, and one Teaching Guide of your choice; sweater or light jacket; notebook and pen; lunch (or plan to purchase lunch at a local eatery). Participants should have already completed Session 1 prior to taking this class. |
